OUR STAFF
Dr. John A. Van Gemert
Dr. Van Gemert grew up in Spokane and finished high school at Gonzaga Prep. He went on to attend Carroll College in Helena, Montana and graduated with a biology degree in 1997. In 2001, he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan. Afterwards, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency through the United States Navy and enjoyed serving there as a dental officer from 2001-2005. Dr. Van Gemert moved back to Spokane in 2005 and has been practicing at Liberty Park Family Dentistry ever since. He and his wife, Juli, met at the University of Michigan and have three wonderful children- Emma, Greta and Clay. Dr. Van Gemert loves to spend time outdoors and coach his children’s sports teams.
Mary | Office Manager
Mary joined Liberty Park Family Dentistry in 2013 and began her journey here as a restorative assistant. She has now taken on the roll of office manager so she is your go to gal for any questions you may have. She and her husband are currently raising three young children and love to enjoy different family traditions.
Addy | Front Office
Addy started with us back in 2010 and has a been a great addition to our team. Addy enjoys spending her time outdoors and traveling. She is a huge animal lover and would love to open a rescue someday. Addy is one of the smiling faces that will greet you when you enter our office and help you on your way out.

Lauren | Dental Assistant
Lauren started at our office in 2020 and has been a fun and spunky addition to our team. She is a fun loving adventurer who loves the outdoors. She recently had beautiful baby girl and is embracing motherhood. She loves chairside assisting and believes in making a patient as comfortable as possible.
